What exhibitors to our previous events say...
“I really enjoyed the event, although the time just flew by.
It was rather experimental for me as I don’t normally do local marketing as most of my clients tend to be London or internationally based.
I have to say that it was one of the more successful events I have been to this year in terms of meeting useful contacts, even though I met very few actual direct potential customers. My contacts were mainly other exhibitors. There was such a lovely friendly and collaborative atmosphere - I even made friends with some “competitors” who I might even end up working in collaboration with. I think it was great value for money well organised.”
Barbara Hollyhead, Agave Blue Marketing
Proved massively beneficial for us to take a stand. Quality footfall and group of businesses, every one we spoke to was very impressed with it.
Pat white, Senior Advertisng Manager, Media Clash
In fact, after speaking with others we agreed that the event was really well organized and had continuous footfall through the afternoon. “
Overall, really pleased I attended, felt it was a great event and look forward to it being repeated - please add me to your list as soon as details of the next one becomes available”

“The expo was well organised, efficient and very fruitful for Abundant Life Chiropractic. I would definitely have a stand again at this much needed business event. Thank you James for all your efforts.”
Dr Thomasina Craster DC
Sorry for delay getting you this James, I have been run off my feet since:-)
1. I wanted to give more exposure in Bath which it definitely gave us a platform, we had lots of interest from people who have banked with other high street banks that didn’t know we did business banking. The bags and leaflet inserts were a great idea
2. I appreciate all you hard work that went into the event, I thought it was a fantastic well organised day and thoroughly enjoyed it
Chloe Wiltshire, Santander
The number of exhibitors present was amazing for a first event and there was a good buzz in the room just from the exhibitors before anyone else arrived. This, of course, only got better as the afternoon went on.
We had a steady flow of visitors who were interested in who Mayden are and what it is we do. Not only that, we were able to make some good contacts and had some good and useful discussions.
We look forward to being at the next one.”
Alison Bisping, Mayden
I thought it was really well organised and attended. The variety of exhibitors was excellent and the general feeling was very positive - there was a definite buzz about the place! It's without doubt the best of this sort of event I have attended.
We got lots of interest in the stand, and came back with lots of new contacts. Well done!
Kate Smith, The Makery (As featured on Dragon's Den and operating in John Lewis Stores)
“Excellent event - we would certainly do it again - good mix of businesses, some we knew, some we didn't so good social and networking. Footfall was good too so it was pretty busy for most of the afternoon...... could probably do with a slightly bigger venue to accommodate.Noel Broomfield, Bath Building Society
“BBWA enjoyed exhibiting at the Expo. It was well attended (we personally got a lot of interest and some new members sign up), well organised and a really nice atmosphere during the event.”
Claire Beacham, Bath Business Women’s Association
I really enjoyed the expo, gained lots of new contacts and am delighted about that. It was my first time at this event and I was unfamiliar with how it all worked but found everyone most helpful.
The stands were a good mix of businesses and organisations and I would certainly book up again next year as I think it was an excellent - there was plenty of footfall, and overall it was a good B2B event. I actually think you could go even bigger next year.”
Angela MacAusland, Chairman, FSB Bath Branch
As a first time exhibitor with you I want to first say how easy you made it for us to become part of the event, especially at such a late stage. It was very well organised and we made some great contacts that will hopefully result in some new business for Cardwave.
What did you want to gain from exhibiting?
We wanted to take the opportunity to market and present one of our strategic products to local businesses and have a “practice” at selling it face to face rather than to our reseller network that we usually deal with.

The event was really good, we have a few decent leads (could always have more!).
We will be attending again and I would like to reserve the same stand please.

What did you want to gain from exhibiting?
To make new business contacts with a view to getting more work from them or people they know.
What did you most appreciate about the Expo?
The number of people attending
We felt the event was extremely useful for both direct clients and for local brand awareness and reinforcement. We would not hesitate to attend the event again- it was VERY worthwhile!!
Loved the layout, planning and mix of businesses and organisations. The break out areas were useful as was the all day cafe - networking events useful as well!!
Many thanks again James, Les

We wanted to establish a profile in (the area) and increase our profile amongst those businesses who already knew of our existence. We felt we achieved this objective.

Our aim in attending the Expo as exhibitors was to create an awareness of Business Scene as an organisation and to promote the benefits of Business Scene membership to local businesses. To that end, we made contact with a large number of attendees and exhibitors and felt that it was a very worthwhile exercise.
Generally, we enjoyed the day and thought it to be a very worthwhile event in a stunning location.
Mike Withey | Regional Sales Manager Business Scene
We most appreciated the number of exhibitors and delegates, giving us opportunities to make good contact with both. This was obviously down to a well organised and well advertised event. Delegate numbers were a bit difficult to judge compared to last year as the venue was so much larger. I assume it was as successful if not more so in terms of numbers. Certainly it was good to hear one potential exhibitor complain he applied too late to get a stand.

we wanted to exhibit mainly for continued brand awareness, as well as to meet new business contacts of course. We thought the event was announced and organised beforehand in an efficient manner & stall setup was fair and comfortable. Overall amenities in the venue were good.
Overall, we had a lovely time and ended up generating several items of direct business as a result, as well as collecting a lot more contacts. We also shared a lot of marketing info and completely ran out of business cards!

A great profiling exercise from both a potential client and candidate perspective for us really. Would definitely consider again next year
Reasonably priced to have a stand. Well organised, well attended, all in good spirits, seminars if you wanted them etc…
Jayla Simple Recruitment
It was in a great central location with a good amount of people passing throughout the day. There was a wide variety of business types there and a relaxed and friendly environment. I enjoyed the extra events that were going on throughout the day, including the networking sessions and seminars. It seemed to be very well run and organised and, from an exhibitors point of view, everything went very smoothly.

As a new entrant in the local market MWSL welcomed the opportunity to find out more about the local businesses, explore their goals, discover what drives those businesses and demonstrate how we, as a full service provider, could help them achieve those goals.
What did you most appreciate about the Expo?
The concentrated opportunity to meet as many businesses as possible and discuss mutual objectives in an informal setting.
The lead-in and the day itself worked very well.

“I thought overall it was great, it was good value, and it was refreshing to see a mix of demographics, both in exhibitors and attendees, which was a marked contrast to the B&NES organised one we did in the same venue earlier in the year.”
(The Guild co-working hub)
I did lots of networking.
I appreciated how well it was organised and how friendly staff were on the day.

Congratulations to James Tribe and the team for the excellent Business Expo yesterday. A huge success, bringing together a slice of the business community from around the region."
Mark Stonham, Wurlwind
“I thought the event was great, especially as it was the first time you had done anything like this. It was my first expo and the things that really appealed to me about it were the affordability and the fact that it was so local and there were so many friendly faces. I had some fantastic conversations and made some valuable contacts so it was a really positive experience.”
Imogen, Social i
We thought it was great and certainly worthwhile for our business – an excellent opportunity to catch up with existing clients and contacts, to learn about potential suppliers and to meet prospective clients and candidates. Well done for all your hard work and thanks for making it happen!”
Wanted to send a quick note to thank you very much for hosting such a fantastic event. As first time exhibitors of the Expo, we were unsure of what to expect. However, we thoroughly enjoyed it and felt that both the exhibitors and visitors were of a really good quality.
Please keep in touch with any future events and we look forward to speaking with you soon,
